Thankyou for taking a look at my website. A little bit about me. I've been a woodworker for about 25 years now. I enjoy the pleasure of  taking an idea and turning it into a finished product. as you can see from the gallery page I've been influenced by the Arts and Crafts and Shaker styles. These two styles usually have simple but elegant forms. This helps to accentuate the beauty of the woods that I use in my furniture.
I use Cherry, Maple and Ebony primarily. I also like using African Mahogany and will use exotic veneers as accents occasionally.
I use time tested joinery on all my furniture. Dovetail drawers and Mortise and Tenon joints insure that each piece will last for generations.
The finish that is applied to each piece also contributes to the beauty of the wood. Except for tables and Kitchen cabinet pieces, which require a more waterproof finish, I use boiled linseed oil and paste wax. The combination of these two form a durable and beautiful finish that is easy to repair and enhances the grain of the wood like nothing else I have found.
Thankyou for your interest. You can contact me with any questions you may have. I would be happy to work with you on design and project questions.
